The Ocean City Surfrider Foundation 8th Annual Longboard Team Challenge was a Huge success this past weekend.

The events hosts 16 teams, 75 longboarders from across the Mid-Atlantic region who compete to win the perpetual Tiki Trophy, and bragging rights. The Waves and weather were spectacular as the first heat wave of summer descended on us and the waves were fun and plentiful the whole time. Steve Walden & Mike Tabeling joined in the festivities helping make this year’s event one of the best.

A lot of thanks goes out to the Surfrider foundation Ocean City, MD chapter for the efforts and organization. They have a tremendous staff of volunteers, that do an amazing job year round for the surfers of Maryland.
