Sitting on the balcony of Noosa Heads Surf life saving club (NHLSC), overlooking First Point, you couldn't find a better place to sit and take in the festival action.
Freshly renovated the NHLSC will be open right through the festival for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Martin Cilia became a professional musician at age 14 and has been playing in bands since 1979.
In August 2007 Martin released his solo album "Revenge Of The Surf Guitar" – his tribute to the wonderful sounds of the early sixties surf guitar made famous by bands like The Shadows, The Chantays, The Surfaris and of course, The Atlantics. The CD has received positive reviews from here and overseas and we are lucky enough to have permission form Martin to feature some tunes from Revenge of The Surf Guitar in our daily highlights packages.

Lucy Gallant was born in London, England and grew up in Australia. She began sharpening her instrumental skills as a teenager; learning to play the drums and guitar, as well as showcasing her newfound talents before live audiences in clubs, pubs and music festivals across Australia. Lucy's career is already framed by her unique blend of Acoustic, Reggae, Funk, Dance Hall, Rock, Pop and Trip Hop music genres, creating a new and innovative sound that beats beyond the boundaries of industry conventions.

Singer/songwriter, Kym Campbell, will draw you into her world with music most often described as acoustic surf-roots. Kym has been influenced by a kaleidoscope of genres from reggae to folk, roots flowing to easy surf-rock, with even a hint of hip hop. And out of this combination, she has crafted her own distinct style, while still managing to include just enough radio friendly pop to keep that tune popping up in your head all day. Names like Ben Harper, Tristan Prettyman, the Waifs, Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, The Beautiful Girls and Sublime, are just a few she draws any particular special inspiration from.
