DESCRIPTION

The Super Fish II has been updated for 2012 making one of our most popular boards even better. The idea behind the Super Fish design is to offer a board that rides, paddles and catches waves easily regardless of your ability. The generous outline and smooth rocker makes this board incredibly easy to ride. One of the most notable features of the Super Fish design is the step deck. This gives the board greater buoyancy while maintaining a performance rail profile making the board sensitive and easier to turn.
The new bottom contour features a deep single-to-double concave providing greater speed and acceleration. The tail wings are now more defined creating bite off the bottom and quicker release through turns. The swallowtail has been reinforced with extra fibreglass and is now shallower than before. This adds surface area under your back foot meaning more speed in flatter waves.
FCS plugs are set up in a tri-quad configuration so you can ride it as a thruster or a quad, and our new PE technology combines a polyurethane core with epoxy resin to offer a light and lively board with incredible memory flex.
If you’re looking for a high volume, easy to ride surfboard that’ll increase your wave count then the Super Fish II is the board for you.
The new Blue/Black & Lime/Black design will be available in stores in USA & Australia late May 2013. For the rest of the world please see your Local DealerClick the "LIVE CHAT" button to chat with a GSI staff member about this product or finding the right product for you.

- PE
- POLYURETHANE/EPOXY TECHNOLOGY
PE construction combines a polyurethane foam core with high-grade timber stringer, which is laminated by hand using fiberglass cloth and an exclusive epoxy resin. Epoxy resin is used in PE construction for two important reasons. One, to reduce the rate of yellowing and discoloration of the board and two, our exclusive epoxy is more flexible than polyester and maintains the lively flex pattern typically associated with a new board.
All PE boards are CNC milled from the shapers files and laminated by hand. These boards are light, have incredible acceleration and speed, and feel remarkably sensitive under your feet. You can find out more about GSI's surfboard construction on our surfboard technologies page

Howard from Gold Coast, Australia says:Just love this board, been kidding myself for years abouyt my ability and this is just what I need. A great board which paddles easy and more important cathces waves easy. Very fast in the quad set up and just great fun, which is what its all about, not how man lip punches you can or cant get in on the wave, just take off and carve. Also nice to have a board(epoxy) that doesnt have compression dings after one surf.

Nir from CA, USA says:OMG where are the breaks? My 6'6" is amazing, very fast and maneuverable. The wave in San Diego are small, and this little fish is a huge shark! Get one, you will love it, I promise!

davis m from ca, San Diego says:I just bought this board today and have surfed twice with it already and I have to say it is a very fun board to ride! It rides like a mix between a fish and a long board. first outing was a thruster setup and second was a quad, I was very pleased with the quad setup. As far as duck diving the board I would say its slightly difficult due to the volume but is manageable. look forward to many more rides!!! would recommend to anyone!

Jakub from NSW, Austrália says:I am beginner surfer catching small to medium waves, and this board has turned out to be perfect! Has the stability of a foamie, and the flexibility of a shortie! Rumors say that it is a bit harder with duckdives, but I havent had that experience. Absolutely great, fast, stable board do not regret the money one bit!
