The generous outline and smooth rocker makes this board incredibly easy to ride. One of the most notable features of the Super Fish design is the step deck. This gives the board greater buoyancy while maintaining a performance rail profile making the board sensitive and easier to turn.
The new bottom contour features a deep single-to-double concave providing greater speed and acceleration. The tail wings are now more defined creating bite off the bottom and quicker release through turns. The swallowtail has been reinforced with extra fibreglass and is now shallower than before. This adds surface area under your back foot meaning more speed in flatter waves.
FCS plugs are set up in a tri-quad configuration so you can ride it as a thruster or a quad, and the new FutureFlex construction offers a fast and lively, highly responsive flex pattern that's perfectly geared for performance surfing.
If you're looking for a high volume, easy to ride surfboard that'll increase your wave count then the Super Fish II is the board for you.

- FutureFlex
- FUTUREFLEX TECHNOLOGY
FutureFlex represents the very latest in surfboard technology and design. The construction process combines a stringerless, high-density custom shaped EPS core laminated with biaxial fiberglass, epoxy resin and a parabolic carbon fiber frame.
The carbon fiber frame within the laminate is the key to the performance of these boards. Designed to maximize speed and drive while minimizing twisting, FutureFlex boards essentially store and release energy as the surfer transitions through a turn. The result is a fast and lively, highly responsive surfboard that's perfectly geared for high performance surfing. You can find out more about GSI's surfboard construction on our surfboard technologies page

I just had my 50th birthday Surfari up at Pt Plomer and was stoked to receive one of these babies as a gift by a good mate KB. Ive been riding a 8.1 McTavish Eight ball for the last 4years and thought what a great allround board in all conditions. Well the super fish ll FF is mind blowingly fast and responsive the deep concove and tail set up gives you incredible drive in all size waves. On the Saturday we had epic 5-6ft windless lefts at Delicate Nobbie and this board just went off caught waves like my 8.1 and just bit on backhand bottom turns holding on in the barrel great as well. This is a must have board even on the points at full tide this thing just plains so freakin beautifully making it thru flat sections. Just a great design top marks 7S

I had a go of one of these things during a club long boarding comp. Matty from GSI showed up with a few demo boards for the boys to try out. One of these boards was the 7'3" 7S super fish with the ff construction. Some of the lads that gave it a go hadn't surfed a short board for over ten years and were raving about it.I thought I gotta try this thing out as I still surf short boards fairly regularly. It went fricken amazing, super fast and faster with each pump of the fins. The thing I usually dont like about fishes is thier inability to run propery through turns particularly on long drawn out cut backs. Not this baby I reckon I did one cut back on a two foot wave that went for ten meters back into the foam! I've ordered one through Serious Surf Stuff at inverloch and cant wait to get it. It paddled into waves as easily as my 9.0 HP long board and glides just as well but much much faster. Thanks heaps to Matty for the demo you're a legend!
Eddy from NSW, Australia says:
This board is truly amazing. I have been surfing around 18 months now and just sold a 6'5 Fat Burner and purchased the 6'0 Superfish. The carbon fibre is beautiful and super buoyant. At first i was worried about stepping down 5 inches but it has been the best thing i could have done. After 3 surfs on it I can now do property cut backs that were never possible on my 6'5. I can highly recommend this board. Its also great when sitting in the line up and about 4 people are paddling for the wave and I am the only one that gets on the wave due to the awesome float of the board. GET ONE NOW :)
