ANACAPA BANDIT BOARD INFO

This board only comes in sizes over 7', so you can see that we are making this one to suit the bigger guys.

Don't get us wrong it is not a funboard but a finely tuned performance board.

It has the best of both worlds in that it will float you well while making it super easy to paddle because of its size.

Once on the wave it will give you all the performance that you are looking for, you will think you are riding a shortboard for sure.

If you are a bigger guy or even someone who wants to get off a fun shape onto a traditional shortboard template but don't have the paddle power then this is your board.

The Bandit is made of traditional Foam and Fiberglass construction. It is computer cut, hand finished, glassed, and then sanded to our Pro-Finish to give you the highest quality board we can make.

It is called the "Bandit" because of it's wave stealing abilities.

I'm 245 lbs, I surf every swell mostly 3 ' and above , This board just blasts off on the take offs, I'm 49 yrs old, surfed 35 yrs now ,,good shape , I use paddle gloves as a added feature to my surfing. I make waves that I used to not get into. This board is perfectly designed by the best , why look at anything else as a big guy ,its got the loose turning of the small board tail has, The rocker has saved me more than a few times on steep take offs while enjoying the tube ride. I bought the 8' 0",Bandit, serial # 06AN60816. I also Surf Longboards, Its light , responsive, Very Affordable, incredible , All dimensions are by a Master Shaper in which you feel on every ride. Some boards I've riden have not answered all the flaws that make or break a shape. It totally lives up to its name in Waist-Head high,, This size bandit surfs like a 6'6" on cut backs and off the lips, its definately a power surfboard. It steals waves like a thief. I came down from an NSP 7' 6" funshape and am so stoked on the Anacapa Bandit. Because it's so light and easy to paddle, I lost no paddling nor wave-catching ability. It's fast, turns well and really easy to work the face. I surf at a spot with a lot of longboarders and they are amazed at how easily I catch waves. This board is perfect for someone who wants to try a short board template without losing paddling and wave catching ease.

Very pleased. Exactly what I was looking for in a longer shortboard shape. I bought it the day I saw it at my local surf shop. Fast, loose with good flotation for this 185lb middle ager. The only draw back is myself,I'll have to get better shape to get the most enjoyment from this board...which I plan on doing right after the Christmas..ha faf
