ANACAPA GLIDER BOARD INFO
This is the most popular board in the Anacapa line, best described as an all-rounder. The board will really work well in small to medium surf.
It is basically an all-over volume shortboard. The extra volume creates buoyancy which adds to the board's ability to paddle either faster or easier depending on your level of fitness.
If you are currently riding a shortboard you can take a smaller Glider by a couple of inches and still get the same performance or take the same size and get the added bonus of an easier board to paddle.
The Glider is made of traditional Foam and Fiberglass construction. It is computer cut, hand finished, glassed, and then sanded to our Pro-Finish to give you the highest quality board we can make.

CONSUMERS REVIEWS FOR THE ANACAPA GLIDER

vaughn scioli from new jers, u.s. of A says:

this board is crazy!! for 5years i have been riding a super light m10. after finding it extremely hard to paddle on i went to heritage and found an awesome deal on the glider. its fast, well made, and cheap,..what else can you ask for. i have been surfing for 16 years and can whole heartedly say that this board is my favorite one yet!!!! keep it up.. we cant afford 650$$$ boards!!!

Graham from Virginia, USA says:

I bought the 6'6" glider day-before-yesterday and took it out yesterday in 3 - 5 foot Virginia Beach surf. Though I haven't surfed a shortboard in quite sometime, I got quickly wired and the board performed beautifully. It is stable, fast, very maneuverable, and it paddles really well! I would definitely recommend this board to anyone and the low price is just icing on the cake!!

Keith Dayball from Maryland, United States says:

I just bought the 6/6 Glider and Ill tell you what, I couldnt be more pleased! I have owend two other CI boards in the past by Al M. and the Anacapa rides just as well and for the price it's just unbeatable!!!

Dan from Victoria, Australia says:

As a beginner this board has been fantastic, offering hassle and frustration free hours in the water. Construction is quality and design timeless, a deck that looks the goods at any level.

D from NJ, USA says:

Hey, congrats for offering a board for the guy who doesn't have 700 dollars to blow on something that may or may not work that well. I got a Glider super-cheap from a local shop because they were on sale. I got the 6'6" for the winter time here in Jersey for the added float. On my very first wave riding this board I pulled into a little barrel and snuck my way out. I also was able to lay this board on a rail very easily and snap turns like I was riding my ...Lost. I realized for a big thick board it was still amazingly loose. Like 12 waves later into that session I realized I made a wise purchase. Thanks Al for designing such a versatile affordable board and thanks Eastern Lines Surf Shop for hookin a brother up. Who cares if it's a computer clone shaped by a robot in Thailand, it works for me!

Peter Brame Whiting from New South , Australia says:

Excellent board, nice and fast down the line, loose and fluent with turns.Best board i've ridden for about 10 years. Went out and bought the Anacapa fish as well, ureal for the smaller east coast beach breaks.

Garett Barry from Florida, United States says:

I just wanted to say that this board is so perfect and sexy and is really light and is extremely fast on the wave. The only thing i would reccomened is get it a little shorter than usual cause its pretty thick and gives you extra buyouncy

Matt from Victoria, Australia says:

Hi All, I've had my Anacapa Glider 6' for nearly twelve months and I love this thing. I normally ride a 6'4" Shortboard but I've found myself using this board more and more from1-4 feet+. I added the FCS G5's for more traction and drive and it goes unreal. It's bizarre but this board loves an onshore wind. I've had some of my best surfs on this board in average 3 foot crumbly onshore conditions-so much so that now when it onshore, I get excited about using it. I've lent it to all of my mates and 3 of them so far have bought the exact same board as well. It's spreading like the measels. Heaps of fun.

linn isbell from california, us says:

I'll try not to bore you but here's my horror story. In 1982 my wife and I moved to Oahu where I worked as a respiratory therapist at St Francis Hospital. We were there for about 3 years. Before returning to the mainland we took a trip to Kauai where I rented a 6'8" Blue Pacific surfboard. I immediately fell in in love with it and ended up buying it for the trip home. It was bar-none the best board I've ever owned. After using it for 12 years (1997) I convinced myself I was too old for surfing and sold it at a garage sale. This is one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made in my entire life. For the next 10 years I purchased board after board (24 to be exact) but nothing came close to the BP. Then, just recently I purchased a GLIDER and after several years of less than mediocre surfing I feel I'm back in business. Better late than never....It now is the best board I've ever owned and I plan on purchasing another one in the near future, just in case Anacapa ever decides to stop making

Bill from san jose, costa rica says:

I just got the glider, itīs a great board for point breaks and soft round waves, itīs fast down the line and feel very lose under your feet, like you can do anything... thanks al

carlos martinez from florida, usa says:

i would just like to start by saying....wow! thank you so much al merrick for bringing the anacapa glider to the world. for many years i have searched for that perfect balance of float and performance and it is here! im 6'2" and 210lbs and live in fl.so ive had my share of heavy 6'10"s hard to duck dive and to big to really get on it!and wasting hard earned money on potato chip boards that leave me sinking neck deep in water! i would just like to say thank you this is a realistic surfboard. for surf enthusiasts who arent 160lbs i recently took the anacapa glider out on a recent swell here in central fl...... amazing! i genuinly surfed like never before the speed and manueverability is simply unsurpassed.my 6'10" and 7'0 will not be missed.further more you have won a devoted customer for life! i will continue to use your product as long as it is available to the public for it has provided me with the best surfing experience ever hands down.i cant wait to take
