GSI SOFT SURFBOARDS BOARD INFO
GSI Soft Surfboards Logo
We have developed these boards to be the best soft surfboards on the market. Best in performance so people can learn to surf well on them and best as far as usage goes. Until now many of the soft surfboards on the market have been pieces of junk. Our goal is to set the standard.
We have adopted the board inside a board principle that sees an EPS core with a wooden stringer shaped and glassed with epoxy resin. Then it is wrapped in materials that make the board soft. This principle ensures that you get the best of both worlds. Firstly, a board that will perform really well as we can control the shape of the board and therefore the function of the board and secondly we can make the board as soft as it needs to be to still perform well. All boards are constructed with heat lamination for added durability.

CONSUMERS REVIEWS FOR THE GSI SOFTBOARD

kim Hamrock from CA, USA says:

I have been very happy with the GSI SOFT BOARD for both my students and myself. it is stable and very functional. Very Good for teaching and a first board. My only feed back is that although it is very durable it is a little heavy and i have a personal preference for the no wax skins.

Bruce \\ from Maryland, US says:

I used the board during every group lesson and several private lessons this summer, plus I rode it myself. It has held up as well or better then all other school boards we use here. We did not have a delaminating problem, nor did we have any deck punctures or nose damage. I felt the board is a little sluggish to turn, but beginners did not have a problem with it. I would say the strong point is the ease at which the board slips into a rolling wave during the lesson and the stability provided for the beginner to stand up. About the only issue I found is that we did need to wax it prior to every lesson.
