The SLX F4 is lightning quick. The rails on the F4 are low volume and sensitive which makes this board really lively under your feet. The tail rocker in this board really responds to off the tail surfing and loves to be pushed into critical situations.

The F4 is the next generation in performance longboarding. This board is light, thin and fast, with a Quad fin option for those looking to loosen things up and take speed to the next level.

The F4 is super fast, and drives hard off the bottom with its pintail template and hard edges in the tail. The 17" nose will even let you sneak in a quick noseride.

      These boards are CNC milled from the shapers files and glassed by hand.
      Laying up the glass this way allows us superior control of the strength to weight ratio of the boards.
      SLX shapes provide the surfer with:
      Controlled Flex - Each SLX board has it's a stringer and layup designed around the flex the shaper requires from each design. And it's all done by hand.
      Lighter weight - You will immediately feel the light weight when picking this board up but the real benefit is the drive and projection off the bottom.

This is the most cantankerous, technical, unforgiving and badly behaved board it has been my pleasure to own in 38 years of surfing. But get it right and it flies off the bottom, snap back or round house it will do it all but come off your back foot and and it is is all change. I love it and once you remember that it has to be surfed and not just poked around it will always put a smile on your face. Yes it will nose ride but it will also nose dive much to the constant amusement and amazement of my French surfing friends. Cruiser, easy rider beginner/ intermediate board? Definitely not. Performance long board/ Oh yes.. (and all those fins to fiddle with!!!)
