You need to treat the EIGHTBALL like a Longboard, that is, walking forward, gaining a world of glide and trim that are the trademarks of Longboards. Just covering acres of water easily. But its reduced length means you can zap it, whack it, and punch the lip in a series of linked turns if you wish, something that 9 foot boards just find hard to do.
