DESCRIPTION

The design elements that have made Meyerhoffer’s shapes synonymous with performance in the longboards are all coming together in this mid-sized true performance model.Thomas wanted to design a performance board for someone who wants a mid-sized board but don’t want to run a scaled down Longboard. With double concave and vee out the back, this board is faster down the line, has increased rail-to-rail transition, and is more stable when taking off. Super user-friendly, this is the mid-sized board when you want to have lots of fun in any kind of waves.

- SLX
- SLX EPOXY TECHNOLOGY
SLX construction produces a controlled flex pattern by combining the versatility of epoxy materials with the added advantage of reduced weight. All SLX boards have an EPS core with a high-grade timber stringer, which is laminated by hand using epoxy resign, biaxial fiberglass and a specialized construction process.
Featuring a high strength-to-weigh ratio, and designs CNC milled directly from the shapers files. SLX boards feel light, responsive and are very sensitive under your feet. These boards are extremely versatile, easy to ride, and can be used in wide variety of conditions. You can find out more about GSI's surfboard construction on our surfboard technologies page

Clayton Plummer from California, USA says:Let me start off by qualifying my post. I'm a total Kook, Barney, and Poser. At the same time, I bought a Lemon Drop about two months ago and I LOVE this board. It is SO fast down the line, super responsive, easy to paddle, easy to surf. I haven't played around with the fin set-up yet. I'm saving my money for an FCS tri-quad set up so I can run thruster or quad. The board came with a quad set-up. It is working fine for me. Thanks for making such a SWEET board. My next purchase is going to be a long board and I'm heavily considering the Meyerhoffer 2 or the Comp 9.1.
