The Evolution - a refined version of the Original Meyerhoffer. Keeping its unique performance advantages, the refined shape delivers a more balanced performance that now also glide and trim for smaller waves. Still turns on a dime though.

The side cut moves the wide point further back when you surf, which results in a shorter rail line and less surface in the water. That results in a faster Longboard that surfs like a much shorter board.

Backed by lots of feedback, the board is faster, more responsive and easier to turn, yet at the same time it paddles, glides and noserides like a traditional Longboard.

Step outside the box and join other open minded surfers across the world. Surf the meyerhoffer2 and get a new feel for your surfing.

Bernie Hughes from New South , Australia says:

After trying out the original Meyerhoffer and enjoying it I researched the Meyerhoffer 2 and have been so happy I bought it. I usually ride a big fish but wanted a longboard for a reef break dominated by longboards. I find I can paddle on easily like the other longboard I had but I no longer have to be dictated to by a board that tended to follow an easy line, like a train on a track or else the rail grabbed and threw me off. I find it does everything I want it to do and still has a lot more available. It lands so well off steep sections, recovers well from cutbacks and then I have the added option of an easy nose ride on cruisy sections. It's exciting to know I can now choose before or during the wave whether I will ride it more like a short board or a longboard. Either way it is a lot of fun and great to be part of a daring to be different movement in surfing. Keep up the great work guys! P.S I covered the deck with grip to protect it from foot depresions.

1uca5 from CA, USA says:

Was initially stoked on longboard float, paddle and launch with motion and flow of a shortboard, but discovered predefined criteria for measurement limits this experience. I find I'm breathing better, paddling conscientiously, and more engaged with the water. My surfing has evolved from using my Meyerhoffer. It's now my 90%ofthetime board.

Mark Shotwell from California, United States says:

I bought the 9'6" and it is the longest longboard I have ever owned. I weigh 155 but bought this length to also teach my kid to surf by riding on the front. But, boy was I in for a treat when I took the board out myself. It turns so tight and on a bigger wave (head high +) it really turns on. I can get locked in the pocket from behind the peak and then the board just screams across really long sections. Thomas Meyerhoffer lives here and surfs breaks around SF and Pacifica all the time. I have surfed with him for years and seen his shapes progress. Some of the best surfers in the area totally rip on his boards. He is one of the friendliest guys in the water and surfs real well too. I have entered the ultimate quiver giveaway and 4 of the 5 boards I chosen are his. The other is the Seaglass Project, because that is the other board I am surfing on and spun on. Every day I surf the Meyerhoffer, tons of people ask about the board and comment on how good it surfs. Yes, it works, he really did create something transformational. I just hope I win the ultimate quiver, cause my wife will leave me if I buy any more boards, but I really want to try out all his shapes. If you can, pass on the kind words to Thomas, but he definitely has already heard this from me when we have been out in the water together.

Maui Rippers from Hawaii, USA says:

After a million questions I had about this board I was dreaming about trying it. I just got home and got out today on 3-4ft Hawaiian waves at Hookipa Maui. Magical out of season swell for me. Sooo stoked. Dropped in very late and was very secure when piercing the bottom on the way back up to the shoulder, FAST. Screamed past closing sections and also got on the nose at warp speed. I will get this wildthing wired.... Day 2: Swell picked up to 5ft Hawaiian /10ft faces and the board can handle! still have the fin all the way up. Finally excited about something different. Thomas is Da-Man.
