I wanted to go shorter. I wanted volume and paddle. I wanted a performance board. I wanted a fish. I searched high and low and found nothing until the miniFish. Ive had 5 sessions on her so far and can say without question that this board is amazing. Its perfect for our 3-6 Central Florida junk. Shes super fast, turns hard and radical, skates right over flat sections and paddles like a dream. Im 60 weigh 200lbs and I can catch just about anything on this board. I can hardly wait for our next 8+ glassy power swell (hurricane season just over a month away). I can wholeheartedly recommend this board. Intermediate and advanced surfers will get totally stoked on this thing. Not a beginner board. ...I swear those huge red fins make my car look like Hell Boy. Quiver: Webber miniFish 63, 7S Aussie Fish 67, Quietflight StingFish 68, Walden Mini Magic 76.

The waves have been small where I live for the last couple of months so I wanted a board that would allow me to make the most of the conditions without having to go for a longboard. The 6'0 mini fish has done this perfectly. Because of all the extra volume I'm able to sit way out the back with the longboarders and pick off the sets before they reach the pack and yet when on the wave it is highly manouverable and really quick down the line. I've also ridden it on a few bigger cleaner days and it went great. With the big twin fins you can really drive around sections and do long drawn out sweeping turns on the open face. I also use a normal thruster set up sometimes which I found worked well in junky conditions. Overall a really versatile board that's a lot of fun to ride. Highly recommend it!
